I spent over 16 plus years from age 19 in a terrible job which would of been deemed a dead end job which was in a flat pack furniture company.

I learned so much there but there was more negatives than positives in reality.

During the pandemic of 2020 I was furloughed from by job & by the time they wanted me to return I decided enough was enough & handed my notice in because my dad offered me a job at his pest control company!

It was the single most scariest thing I had ever done taking the leap of faith into the pest control Industry but its the best thing I have ever done!

I got my qualifications in killgerm basic principles of rodent control & kill germ basic insect control which was a great learning experience & because of the pandemic it was all online based!

As you know in pest control the best training & reality of pest control its really all learned on the job dealing with rats,Mice,wasps,flies,Moths & so much more!

Every day in pest control is a learning experience!

Since being in pest control I am generally good at dealing with customers on the job I try my best is this area.

My favourite area of pest control is dealing with wasps nest which might sound strange to most people but I actually enjoy it the most!

In 2023 I decided it was time to try to get my RSPH level 2 award in pest management done & rat pack engineering ltd has started courses not far from me Lincoln!
So attended the course in November of 2023 its great learning experience sadly I passed the rodents module but failed the insects & legislation modules it wasn't by much!
Please have no fear I reattended the the course in march/April 2024!
I worked much harder in my own studying time as I ain't naturally academically gifted but with passion & hard work I passed both modules!
I am now happy to say 26th April 2024 I passed my RSPH level 2 award in pest management!

I am company director of oakham pest control Ltd with my father & work side by side him to try & grow the company year on year which is working well!

We are aiming to grow the commercial contract side of the business which is working!
